Age to play ranji trophy cricket what should be the minimum and maximum age for ranji trophy:- 

• Ranji trophy is held in under 14, under 16, under 19, under 23 and open age categories. Players above 23 year can participate in open age category, there is no age limit in this category, players from 24 years to 40-45 or even more years can participate. To participate in Ranji trophy 🏆 it is necessary for a player of any age category to play in the district or state level, only then these players will be able to give trials in Ranji.

How To Give Open Age Category Cricket Trial 

• The meaning of the second point in the open age category Box - You should have proof of working in the state from which you will apply for the trial for one year in the form of salary slip and also all the details which are given in the above box are mandatory. Keep in mind cash salary or written on letter head as salary proof will not be valid even if you are working in school coach or working in other organization.

• If you have been living in a state for more than 15 years and you have your own house, name on ration card and aadhaar card, but you do not have salary slip, you cannot give trial . That's why it is mandatory for you to have a salary slip of at least one year.

• There is no age limit in the open age category it includes those people who are 23 year or more even if the are 40 years old. There is no upper age limit set by BCCI.

• As a rule , it should be that you should have only one Aadhar card and pan card, the rest should be selected on the  basis of talent because it is not necessary that all people do job some are small businessman but they make the rules. Those who have never played cricket them selves.

• if you do not do a job and have your own business like a shop or something else then it is mandatory to have a bank account in the name of that shop that too for 1 year or more only then you will be eligible for the trial.
